The difference between LCD and LED screen

Difference

Smart TV:

The resolution is very high, but the size is limited.

There are 98 inch or bigger TV coming into the market in recent years, but the price is really making people cry.

LCD:

Liquid Crystal Display.

The standard sizes are 42-82 inch.

When you combine them to make a big screen, there are black lines in the joint place.

LED screen: Light Emitting Diode screen. LED itself is the light source, so it has some advantages. To make a big screen, it consumes lower power, it has longer lifespan, it has higher brightness, the viewing angle is bigger, and the viewing distance is bigger, the maintenance cost is lower.

Taking Excel LED projects as example:

Features of LED screen

1. The brightness is higher than LCD, it can be seen clearly even in the daytime.

2. Brightness can be adjusted automatically/manually to fit environment.

3. Different files available, like videos, pictures, amination, text, office files, ect.

4. Able to be controlled remotely. (for option)

5. The grey scale is between 1024-4096 levels, and the color is over 16.7M, the viewing is more vivid.
